TWO local care companies are celebrating after news that the organisation has been named as the No 1 Franchise Company for the second consecutive year in the Elite Franchise Top 100.
Home Instead East Northants and Home Instead Northampton are part of Home Instead Senior Care, an international company that provides home care services that allow elderly people, or younger people with disabilities, to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Home Instead’s caregivers provide anything from a visit to do housework, prepare a meal, take a client shopping or to an appointment, or simply to chat over a cup of tea, right through to 24-hour care where the client requires it.
The Elite Franchise Top 100 recognises the brightest franchise businesses and ranks them according to a broad range of criteria, from their financial performance and heritage in the industry to their contribution to the community and the way they embrace innovation.
On awarding the number one position to Home Instead, they said: “Not only is Home Instead Senior Care’s history full of compassionate stories, but its continuous commitment to care and franchising gained it the top spot for the second year.”
Mark Darnell, Managing Director of Home Instead East Northants, which is based in Wellingborough, said: “It’s good to know that the professionalism and dedication to providing an excellent service has been recognised once again.
“Caring for elderly or vulnerable people is of vital importance in society and as well as sending caregivers into clients’ homes, we’ve also come up with a number of social groups and outreach initiatives that helps clients and their families and friends learn more about the needs of the elderly and areas such as dementia care.”
Home Instead Senior Care now has over 195 franchise offices across the UK and 2018 has seen further growth and development.
Ray and Jo Warburton set up Home Instead Northampton in 2011. Ray said: “We try to ensure that everything we do is informed by the needs of our clients and their families, working hard to ensure their wellbeing and to bring peace of mind to their families.
“This is our focus and it is a whole team effort. To see the company as a whole recognised in this way makes us proud as it shows the work that is being done, all over the UK and further afield, to put the needs of elderly and vulnerable people first.”
Martin Jones, Managing Director of Home Instead, said: “We are immensely proud to be the No. 1 franchise company. We have so much passion within the business for caring for our older generation. We consistently aim for excellence and to this end we believe in providing exceptional support for our franchisees.
“They are not only able to build a successful business, but are also giving back to their local community. By providing award winning care for older people, they are helping them to live their lives well, in their own homes.”
