Be a winner… Entries open for the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards 2024

BUSINESSES across the county are being encouraged to celebrate their business achievements at the prestigious SME Northamptonshire Business Awards.

The SME awards are now in their seventh year and are the longest-running awards in the county.

The competition comprises 22 categories that allow any successful business across Northamptonshire to enter. Entries are judged by a panel of local expert judges and the winners will be revealed at the Grand Celebration, a black-tie evening taking place on May 2 at the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel. Business Times is delighted to once again be the awards’ official media partner.

Awards director Damian Cummins said: We are once again delighted to be launching the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards for 2024.  The innovative, hard-working, and successful businesses in Northamptonshire deserve to be recognised for their achievements.”

Also among the awards in 2023 was Greta Macdonald of Sweet Lounge, who was named Business Women of the Year and Young Business Person of the Year.

Businesses can enter up to three categories to maximise their chances of reaching the finals. In most of the categories the Gold winners will automatically go through to the SME National Business Awards, to be held at Wembley Stadium later this year.

“We see year on year that winners from the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards go on to see not just local but national recognition for their success,” said Mr Cummins. “Entering any business awards offers exceptional marketing and PR opportunities, as well as increasing your credibility and standing out against your competitors.”
