The University of Northampton is preparing for its biggest employability event yet, with this year’s Student Futures Careers Expo set to run across three days from 14–16 October.

The annual fair brings employers onto campus to promote graduate schemes, internships, volunteering opportunities and part-time roles. Last year, it attracted more than 100 employers and nearly 1,600 students and postgraduates.

Martin Perfect, director of student futures at the university, said: “Every year the event gets bigger as employers understand that connecting directly with students and building relationships is the best way to find the talent they need. It is also a chance to raise brand awareness and showcase their commitment to graduate employability.”

Employers can attend the Expo free of charge, with additional sponsorship packages available for organisations looking to boost visibility on campus.

Ahead of the main event, businesses are also invited to join the university’s Part-Time Jobs Fair on 30 September, where they can meet students seeking flexible work alongside their studies.

Full details of the Expo, including the schedule and sponsorship opportunities, are available via the university’s Student Futures Careers Expo webpage.
