The seminar programme has been announced for Your Business Expo Northampton, which returns to the University of Northampton on Thursday 12 February with a series of free, practical sessions for local businesses.
Now in its fourth year, the event runs from 10am to 3pm, with a free networking breakfast from 8.30am, and is headline sponsored by 3RS IT Solutions and Business Times Northamptonshire.
The seminars are designed to give business owners and decision makers clear, actionable advice across key areas including cybersecurity, branding, digital visibility and sustainability.
Opening the programme is a cybersecurity-focused session led by Jake Hill, head of sales at 3RS IT Solutions. Titled Five Free Cybersecurity Fixes Every Business Should Do This Week, the seminar explores how cyber attacks typically begin, the everyday habits that quietly increase risk, and the security settings many businesses never review. Attendees will leave with five immediate actions they can implement without technical knowledge or expensive software.
Brand clarity and trust are the focus of a second session delivered by Bryan Wright, strategy and legacy director at Yellowyoyo. His seminar examines how value propositions and brand storytelling work together, why some messages fail to build belief, and how businesses can shape stories that are trusted, remembered and acted upon.
Digital strategy also features, with Michael Nagels, SEO strategist at Kickstart SEO, addressing the realities of search in SEO in the AI Age. Drawing on three decades of digital marketing experience, the session cuts through AI hype to explain what has genuinely changed in search, what still matters, and how businesses can make grounded, confident SEO decisions.
The programme concludes with a sustainability-led session from Alan Ryan, programme manager at the Northamptonshire Nature Fund, focusing on how local businesses can support flood resilience, biodiversity and community wellbeing through practical projects across the county.

Entry to Your Business Expo Northampton is free, with individual seminar places bookable online. The event is aimed at business owners, directors and senior decision makers from across Northamptonshire.
