New park open for business

A NEW business park in Kettering is now officially open for business, having just reached practical completion – helping to meet the growing demand for industrial and warehouse units in a key location adjacent to Junction 8 of the A14.

Cransley Park is a prime new 270,000 square foot business park development, situated on a 22-acre gateway site, comprising five high-quality industrial/warehouse units from 25,000 to 100,000 square feet. The scheme has been speculatively developed by brownfield regeneration specialist St Francis Group and the Richardson family; demonstrating the confidence in the Kettering and A14 corridor market – with the occupational market continuing to perform well.

The completed units are being offered for both lease and purchase and have been designed to a high specification to achieve the BREEAM Very Good and EPC ‘A’ rating. Each feature 50K/n floor loading, 50m service yards, 8-10m eaves height, dock levellers, level access doors, car/HGV parking and high-quality office accommodation.

St Francis Groups’ Development Director, Gareth Williams said: “We are very proud of what we have achieved at Cransley Park – to have bought back to life an area of Kettering that had previously been the home of heavy industry. Equally, we have been pleased with the increased level of occupier interest in the units as we neared completion.”

Appointed letting/sale agents are Prop-Search and LSH.

Richard Baker, a Director of joint agent Prop-Search said: “The development at Cransley Park is highly visible from the A14 and serves as a key development in the Kettering/A14 corridor in which there is presently a chronic shortage of Grade A logistics and commercial property space. We are already fielding a significant number of enquiries and look forward to welcoming new occupiers to the park shortly.”
