A wealth of experience

FOUR long-standing members of the Stanair Industrial Doors team have been rewarded for their loyalty and dedication to the Kettering-based company.

At a special presentation at the Telford Way Industrial Estate headquarters, company chairman John Standoloft made the presentation to the quartet.

Graham Preston and Ben Walsh have both been with the company for 25 years; Graham as a surveyor who began his career with the firm in the service department, while Engineering Manager Ben joined the company straight from school.

Peter Gregory joined Stanair Industrial Doors 23 years ago in the stores and is now in charge of stores and procurement, while Don MacRae is a highly skilled door engineer who joined 21 years ago and is now based at the Milton Keynes depot.

Stanair Industrial Doors supplies, installs and maintains virtually any kind of industrial door or shutter, including industrial doors and shutters of all types, and a complete range of physical security products, including security shutters, collapsible gates, barring systems and access control systems.

The business was one of the first specialist industrial door repair companies in the UK, building a reputation over more than 44 years for the quality of its products but also for its emphasis on customer service.

John Standoloft presented each of the four men with a gift of their choosing to mark their long service, and said: “From the day I founded the company to the present day, the emphasis has been on quality and excellent customer service and we can’t deliver that without the right team of people.

“We have been lucky to build a fantastic team at Stanair, from those out in the field to those who keep things running smoothly in the offices, and it is my absolute pleasure to present long-service awards to Graham, Ben, Peter and Don in recognition of the devoted service they have given over so many years.”
