Deadline for nominations

MANY companies have someone that stands out from the rest, who goes the extra mile, or simply deserves recognition for a job well done or progress made. Among the categories in the inaugural 2016 SME Northamptonshire Business Awards is Employee of the Year, an opportunity to nominate a member of your team that you think maybe deserves special mention. But hurry, the July 8 deadline for nominations is fast approaching. Success can give not just the individual a boost, but the whole team, motivating others and giving the company as a whole something to be proud of. Business Times, along with the Federation of Small Businesses and Stanair Industrial Doors, are the headline sponsors of the event and nominations are open now for all categories, which also include Best New Business, Networking Group of the Year and Apprentice of the Year. Full details of the categories, the competition rules and how to enter can be found on the awards website. Other Northamptonshire businesses supporting the awards as category sponsors include Chelton Brown, PBC Business Recovery and Insolvency and Wollaston MINI, as well as Northampton Borough Council, Moulton College, Tresham College and Velocity, Northampton Alive. Commercial property agents Prop-Search are ticket sponsors and Northants Herald and Post are media partners. The awards represent an opportunity to support and raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs in the county. Northamptonshire is home to a wide spectrum of businesses in a range of sectors, with smaller companies being the lifeblood of the county, often working alongside and complementing the major players.
