Mick George Ltd, a leading independent supplier of waste management and specialist contracting services to the UK construction industry, has appointed Abigail Johnson as Commercial Manager.
Abigail will develop capabilities, facilities, services and business opportunities for waste management solutions, including asbestos, contaminated soils and hazardous waste, across all sectors from Manufacturing, Construction and Energy, to Education and Retail.

Abigail will develop capabilities, facilities, services and business opportunities for waste management solutions, including asbestos, contaminated soils and hazardous waste, across all sectors from Manufacturing, Construction and Energy, to Education and Retail. Her appointment coincides with the development and opening of Mick George’s new asbestos and contaminated soils disposal facility at Mepal, Cambridgeshire in October.
With a wealth of technical knowledge and industry experience in waste consultancy, compliance and business development roles, Abigail Johnson joins the Mick George Ltd management team from Enviroco, where she headed up national business development with a focus on hazardous waste.
