Saints back REME jobs fair

A new Northamptonshire campaign aimed at resettling forces personnel will be launched at a dedicated Recruitment Fair at Northampton Saints on 4 May 2016.

Championing Northamptonshire as the place for civilian life, the campaign will promote the county’s exceptional career development opportunities in High Performance Technologies, Construction and Logistics. It will also celebrate Northamptonshire’s wider lifestyle offer, locational strengths and high ranking quality of life reviews.


A new Northamptonshire campaign aimed at resettling forces personnel will be launched at a dedicated Recruitment Fair at Northampton Saints on 4 May 2016.

Championing Northamptonshire as the place for civilian life, the campaign will promote the county’s exceptional career development opportunities in High Performance Technologies, Construction and Logistics. It will also celebrate Northamptonshire’s wider lifestyle offer, locational strengths and high ranking quality of life reviews.

Backed by local companies as well as the REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) Job Agency and hosts, Northampton Saints, Northamptonshire businesses with vacancies to fill can expect to meet around 100 skilled and experienced job seeking individuals at the fair.

A Saints’ player will welcome jobseekers to Northamptonshire between midday-1.00pm.

There will also be a number of speakers throughout the day, individuals who have progressed from the Armed Forces to a career in Northamptonshire. These will include Philip Doyle, Military Project Manager at Wellingborough logistics company, Kuehne & Nagel.
