The 371 square foot property was let on a new five-year lease at the full asking rent of £8,200 per annum.

Another character building, on Squirrel Lane, just off Duston High Street, was let after its first viewing, in light of considerable interest from other parties. The property has been let to a firm of accountants at the full asking rent of £12,000 per annum on a five-year lease.

The significant rents achieved illustrate the significant demand for small retail units.

The ground floor is a long-established hair salon and fixtures and fittings and goodwill are available by separate negotiation, while the upper floors offer potential for redevelopment. The unit is in close proximity to the new County Council offices and university campus.

A town centre shop front office and retail unit is available on York Road in Northampton. The 763 square foot space over three storeys is available at £14,500 per annum. The unit may be suitable for a variety of uses, subject to planning.
