Need trade gluing?

GETTING product packaging right – eye-catching, practical, colourful and innovative – is no mean feat, which is why the years of experience on offer at Mosaic Board Print in Kettering is invaluable.

Recent expansion, which doubled the size of the firm’s premises on the Pytchley Lodge Road Industrial Estate, has moved Mosaic forward in line with its ongoing investment in staff, training and state-of-the-art equipment.

Quality control of printed items is greatly enhanced by the use of CIP3 files, which contain all the information needed concerning print jobs including administrative data, inks information and preview images, allowing the automatic setting on the press. This results in a process that is faster and more efficient – saving on make-ready time and wastage.

So much more than simply a printing service, Mosaic provides guidance every step of the way, from concept to design right through to printing, cutting and gluing, and for anything from a simple box to creative and imaginative cartons and point of sale materials.

The water-based adhesive gluing facility is now available as an outsourced service for trade gluing of cartons and wallets at competitive prices and quick turnaround times. The gluing machine is capable of four and six-corner gluing which is rarely available backed up by a team with many years’ experience in gluing who are happy to advise on carton construction and the correct method and adhesive to use.

Gary Pearce, Managing Director, said: “We opened up our gluing facility to trade a few years ago. We have become a vital extension to many of our clients’ production facilities. We produce cartons ourselves, so we understand the product and the issues and complications that can occur in the gluing process. Our trade clients trust the advice we give them and the attention to detail and care our staff give to every job.”

“All in all, from start to finish we can make sure clients get the competitive pricing, quality and service they expect from us, every time.”
