DO you have a successful product that is overdue a makeover or an innovative idea for a product? All need the expertise and technical know-how of Zeller Design.
An impressive portfolio of household brand names confirms the value of using the skills of a specialist consultancy that turns requirements into reality, or good ideas into exciting, workable prototypes and products.
Established over 30 years ago, the Rothwell-based company is headed up by John Zeller, who combines extensive experience and ongoing investment in cutting-edge technology including 3D printing and state-of-the-art CAD facilities.
This has enabled the company to work on wide range of high-end projects including moulding systems for the football boots worn by members of the England World Cup squad, play equipment for Wicksteed Playscapes and pushchairs and baby transport systems for Maclaren. More recently, Zeller Design has been working on a range of equipment for Abilia, a company that specialises in communication equipment for those whose speech is affected by illness or disability.
John takes an initial idea or concept and turns it into sketched designs, followed by CAD drawings, 3D printed designs and then on to full prototypes and manufacture.
“We help anyone who has an idea for a product and wants design expertise in putting that idea into reality,” said John. “Technology has allowed us to produce samples and prototypes quickly and inexpensively, while our experience and knowledge of the business means we can smooth the manufacturing process and make sure clients are getting the best possible deal.
“For those with existing products, who want a redesign or a make-over, we can do that too. Very often, a designer will take a product and smooth out small issues like making it lighter, easier to handle, or more user-friendly – often making cost savings at the same time.
“Anyone looking to get something onto the market, or give their products an overhaul, would do well to speak to us. We’ve worked in all kinds of sectors and can turn our hand to pretty much anything, from small electronic handheld products to bus shelters.”
