OVER the last few months the Economic Growth team, working closely with the Planning Team has been supporting new businesses investing in South Northamptonshire, offering strategic advice and support at every stage of their journey.
These include:
* Warren’s Bakery in Towcester
* Screwfix in Towcester
* Euro Garages Service station at Junction 16 of the M1, soon to be home to Starbucks, Greggs, Subway, Krispy Kreme and a Spar
* The Paisley Pear, Marston’s Brewery’s new bar and hotel in Brackley opening in July.
These businesses are creating new jobs for local people and suppliers as well as giving residents and visitors more choice and reasons to spend money within South Northamptonshire.
SNC Chairman, Cllr Rosie Herring, who officially opened the new Screwfix store in Towcester in May, said: “It is wonderful to see so many new businesses opening up in the district. A thriving local economy benefits everyone who lives and works in the area.
