PART-time college education has become an integral part of the UK’s drive to upskill the population. The ever-evolving nature of the business world means that in order for employees to remain competitive, they need to learn and develop new skills.
This is why Moulton College is launching new part-time training courses in Maths and English. The courses, designed for adults in work, or those preparing for the next steps, are aimed to improve learner confidence in these subjects, which can be implemented back in the workplace. The majority of working environments call for a basic understanding of these skills in order to thrive.
Rob Stevens, Programme Leader for Maths and English, said: “Maths and English forms a huge part of our everyday lives, which is why these new courses are so important. Learning these functional skills will allow our adult learners to work independently and effectively, at a professional and personal level.”
The courses will launch in the week commencing 23 September, and run on Wednesday evenings and Friday afternoons.
