The Northamptonshire Business Network (NNBN) is encouraging the county’s business community to rally behind Northamptonshire Day, highlighting the role local enterprise plays in shaping the county’s identity and prosperity.
Taking place in Northampton’s Market Square, this year’s celebrations will showcase the people, products and innovation that define Northamptonshire — from creative entrepreneurs and heritage crafts to major employers and global brands that call the county home.
NNBN director Simon Cox said the event is an opportunity for businesses to demonstrate pride in where they work and the impact they make. “Northamptonshire Day is a day we should all mark in our diaries and be proud of what we do in the county,” said Simon. “We’re blessed to be in such an incredible part of the UK with great transport links, strong educational institutions, a rich history, and an outstanding mix of entrepreneurs, SMEs and global brands driving our local economy.”
NNBN is a partner in the Local Visitor Economy Partnership, working with public and private sector organisations — including the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce — to promote the county as a place to visit, work and invest.
Simon added that showcasing the county’s economic strengths through events like Northamptonshire Day is vital to building pride of place and confidence among businesses.
