SUNNYLANDS Nursery, the nursery at St Peter’s School in Kettering, is set within the spacious and secure walled gardens of the school, and was established many years ago.
It offers a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where children are inspired to learn and play within a caring family atmosphere. Large bright rooms, outdoor covered classroom and extended outdoor space offer children the perfect setting to become happy and active learners.
Through the gentle guidance and encouragement of the experienced staff, the children develop positive behaviour and social skills becoming dynamic and independent learners as they grow in confidence.
As the children journey towards their more formal education, a greater emphasis is placed on the development of early reading, writing and mathematical skills, valuing traditional skills supported by the use of technology to support and enhance learning.
Children are welcome from the term they become three years old, and flexible session patterns are available to suit working parents. Sunnylands Nursery is registered for the Early Years funding, tax-free childcare and childcare vouchers and the Nursery Manager warmly welcomes families to book a visit to see the nursery and early booking is encouraged.
