Bosworth College

Bosworth Independent College is an international boarding college based in Northampton. We provide academic courses for students aged 13-19 and we consistently gain top results each year, with 63% of students progressing to a top 30 UK university in 2017. We pride ourselves on ‘Enjoying achievement’, we will support each student to achieve to the best of their ability. Bosworth offers the breadth of knowledge and experience required for students to excel.

Bosworth ensures a customised timetable is in place for each and every student. Our timetable runs from 08.30 to 17.50 and this longer school day enables us to offer a more flexible approach. Whilst the core hours are (09.00-16.00) and students will not have early and late lessons every day, the college remains open and Study Halls are available so students can take full advantage of this.

There are very few restrictions on subject combinations at GCSE and A-level and, with average class sizes of eight each student gets the individual attention they require to reach their academic potential. We are also able to offer a one-year GCSE, A-level and BTEC course.

Established in 1977 as a small tutorial college, today Bosworth is a leading independent boarding college. Our excellent academic results, established university links and caring and supportive ethos have resulted in an enviable reputation. Teaching at all levels is characterised by enthusiasm and passion and we pride ourselves on being a non-selective college with a proven record, both locally and overseas, for raising students’ aspirations.

Bosworth has approx. 310 students, with a diverse nationality mix (currently 33 nationalities), so students regularly find themselves working alongside classmates of different cultural, social and religious backgrounds, ensuring that they leave the College as well-rounded individuals.
