IN a recent edition of Business Times we talked about how we at Business Finance Services (BFS) are planning to expand our horizons. We are now pleased to announce the next couple of steps in doing this.
As a business, our main task is to help SMEs to develop. In many cases this involves identifying what finance is needed and where it can be sourced from. These days, however, our remit spreads much wider than this. We have on board some highly experienced and talented people, all of whom have worked in a wide range of commercial environments. We are now offering to make this pool of knowledge and experience available to SMEs via our new flexible mentoring service called the BFS Sounding Board Service. We are also pleased to announce that we will be holding the next in our series of Free Seminars entitled Negotiating the Business Maze. This next event has the subject of Alternative Sources of Finance. We will be joined at the event by five different providers of commercial finance each of whom will give a 15-minute presentation on their company and products. The seminar is designed to introduce SME owners/managers to some of the many sources of alternative finance available through BFS when the mainstream banks are unable to help.
The event will be held in the Sturtridge Suite of the Barwell Stand at Franklins Gardens in Northampton on Thursday 29 June. Doors will open at 3pm for registration with the presentations starting at 3.30.
