DELEGATES will appreciate the extra touches when attending conferences and meetings at the conveniently-located Holiday Inn Corby.

The extensive refurbishment means the venue can now host events for up to 350 people but still offer options for those looking to hire well-equipped rooms to host smaller groups.

The experienced events team are keen to create packages to meet each organiser’s requirements. The day rate for delegates is £32 per person for groups of ten people or more.

This includes room hire and the setting up of equipment which is specific for the room including a flip chart and stationery box, unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day, fruit juice and fruit bowl on arrival and access to a treat box and soft drinks, a sweet station and mineral water. A hot and cold buffet lunch chosen from the weekday menu is included in the price.

Groups of 20 or less can upgrade to unlimited Starbucks coffee throughout the day for an additional £5 per head.

The wide range of meeting room options include the new-look Manor Suite, which can hold up to 350 people, and the Heart Suite, formerly the Corbie Suite, which is a versatile, fresh-looking space for up to 175 people.

Another area is the Ace Suite (formerly Millers Restaurant) which can accommodate up to 150 with a theatre-style set up or, with the clever use of partitions, can suit the needs of smaller groups by splitting the space in to areas called Joker, Club and Ace.

The meeting rooms once available on the hotel’s first floor have now been turned into bedrooms to bring the hotel’s bedroom quota up to 110.

It means visitors can be rightly impressed with the hotel’s facilities which include free high speed wi-fi on site, a refurbished on-site gym, fitness and pool area 3D Health and Fitness Corby and the beauty salon Pampered and Polished.

The Open Lobby space, which is open to non-residents, boasts a dining area which includes a chefs’ station, bar and a ‘to go’ cafe where the team are proud to serve Starbucks coffee.
