A TEAM that is usually dedicated to ensuring customers can print and copy in high-quality colour found themselves in the middle of a rather colourful environment of their own a few weeks ago.

A five-strong team from Technocopy Solutions in Wellingborough took part in the Cynthia Spencer Colour Run on May the 6th, an event the company also sponsored.

The run saw a record number of participants cover the 5k Overstone Gate course while being showered with powdered paint.

The Technocopy Solutions team were helping raise vital cash for the Northampton-based Cynthia Spencer Hospice, which provides palliative care for patients with life-limiting illnesses, as well as supporting their families both at the hospice and in the community.

Involvement in the Colour Run is just one of a number of charitable events supported by the Wellingborough firm. Members of the Technocopy team have also taken part in events to raise money for the Air Ambulance, Sense and Macmillan this year, including the Silverstone half marathon, the London Marathon and the Macmillan Harborough 100km Sportive cycle event.

The company values its links to the wider community, including a strong relationship with Northampton Saints, for which it has just been awarded the contract to supply them with their fleet of copiers and printers.

Over the years Technocopy has established a reputation for providing sound, impartial advice on all areas of print and document management. The foundation of the business is the supply and support of photocopiers and print hardware alongside software solutions, a combination that is already providing their customers with significant cost savings and business efficiencies.

The business growth experienced by Technocopy has been exceptional given the fiercely competitive nature of the industry, the key to which has been their customer-focused approach.

By advising clients on a sustainable long-term strategic approach to their print needs, they have built a customer base of real partnerships and value.

Interested companies can have a free print assessment to establish and understand all their print related costs, which in turn will lead to obtaining advice on how a Managed Print Services contract can reduce costs, decrease wastage and create operational efficiencies.
