THE Peter Crisp Design Studio in Rushden has presented a cheque for £1,320 to Cransley Hospice following this year’s charity day.

Craft stalls were set up in the firm’s showroom on 1 December selling everything from hand-made cards and pottery to handbags, scarves and jewellery, as well as Christmas gifts and decorations. Alongside this, there was a cake stall, raffle and silent auction and visitors were made welcome with tea and coffee throughout the day. The silent auction was made up of generous donations from some of Peter Crisp’s suppliers and items included a Zanussi washing machine, an AEG stick vacuum cleaner and some bathroom accessories.

This year’s total brings the amount raised through the annual event to over £5,000 in the past six years.

The showroom, in Church Street, includes a display of 12 bespoke kitchens for customers to browse before deciding on the design to suit their own home, as well as a range of bathrooms and bedrooms. Customers can take advantage of a complete design and project-managed service.
