Accountancy and business advisory firm MHA has been named Best Newcomer of the Year at the AIM Awards 2025, recognising the company’s strong debut on the London Stock Exchange’s growth market.

The awards, held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, celebrate quoted companies and entrepreneurs that have used AIM to realise their growth ambitions over the past year.

Since its flotation in April, MHA has gone from strength to strength — achieving a share price more than 40% higher than its original listing. The IPO, which raised nearly £100 million, remains London’s largest by deal volume so far this year, despite challenging market conditions.

Chief financial officer Steve Moore said: “I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of our partners, staff and clients. We proceeded with our IPO despite a volatile market, and I’d like to thank Cavendish, Freeths, Crowe, One Advisory and Alma for their invaluable support.”

Chief executive Rakesh Shaunak added: “This award is recognition of MHA’s long-term strategy of stability and growth. The market has rewarded our boldness, and we’re grateful for the continued support from our stakeholders.”

The AIM Awards are run in association with the London Stock Exchange.
