Northamptonshire businesses have until 5.00pm on Friday 19 June to submit entries for the Northamptonshire Business Awards 2026, with organisers urging firms not to leave it to the last minute.

The annual ceremony returns on Friday 11 September 2026 at Sywell Aerodrome, recognising businesses, charities, entrepreneurs and individuals making a real impact across the county. Headline sponsor Wilson Browne Solicitors is once again backing the event.

Fourteen categories are open for entries, covering everything from start-ups and high-growth companies to established employers, charities and individuals. This year’s process has been simplified, with all awards judged solely on written submissions — no interview stage is required.

Louise Wall, CEO of Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, is encouraging businesses to enter before the closing date.

“These awards shine a spotlight on the exceptional businesses and individuals helping Northamptonshire thrive,” she said. “Whether you are a new business making waves, a growing organisation achieving ambitious goals, or an established employer making a lasting impact, this is your opportunity to gain the recognition you deserve.

“We know there are brilliant businesses across the county doing fantastic work, and we want to see them represented on the awards stage in September.”

Last year’s event brought together hundreds of business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across the county. Wilson Browne Solicitors sponsored the prestigious Pinnacle Award, which was presented to DACHSER in recognition of its outstanding contribution and success.

Categories available this year include Business Person of the Year, Young Business Person of the Year, Best New Business of the Year, High Growth Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Employer of the Year, Charity of the Year, Sustainability Business of the Year, Northamptonshire Innovative Business of the Year, Workplace Wellbeing Award, Global Business of the Year, Customer Commitment Award, Apprentice of the Year, and Diversity in the Workplace Award.
