A Northamptonshire digital agency is celebrating its 20th anniversary with recognition in four categories at the 2025 Northamptonshire Business Awards.
Zinc Digital, based in Northamptonshire, has been named a finalist for Small Business of the Year, Businessperson of the Year, Innovation Business of the Year, and Employer of the Year. The awards are organised by Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce.
Founder and chief executive Joe said the nominations reflected the company’s values as well as its growth. “These categories represent everything we care most about – innovative digital solutions, outstanding client service, and most importantly, our incredible team,” he said. “We’re incredibly proud to be rooted in Northamptonshire, giving back to our community and nurturing the next generation of digital talent.”
Founded in 2004, Zinc Digital has grown from a one-person operation into a 20-strong team working with clients in healthcare, education, property, financial services, and the arts.
The company’s approach to employee development includes training budgets, mentoring, flexible working, loyalty leave, and profit-based bonuses, which last year totalled more than £20,000. Joe, who is shortlisted for Businessperson of the Year, added: “We pride ourselves on being innovative not just in the work we produce for our clients but also in the ways we work together as a team.”
Alongside its commercial work, Zinc Digital has chosen Maggie’s Northampton as its charity of the year and continues to run graduate recruitment schemes and outreach in schools and colleges to inspire future digital talent.
