Two Northamptonshire businesses have formed a partnership to strengthen asbestos management and biohazard cleaning services across the UK.

Consulo Compliance, based in Northampton, has joined forces with Desborough-based Specialist Remediation Solutions (SRS) to combine their expertise in asbestos surveying, removal, and remediation.

The collaboration has already seen the successful completion of sensitive projects in schools, nurseries, and commercial refurbishment sites.

Adam Fox, director at Consulo Compliance, said: “We carry out a lot of asbestos surveys, so clients often ask us what the next step should be. Having trusted partners like SRS means we can offer informed recommendations and ensure safe, compliant removal where required.”

SRS, founded in 2023 by Stephen Booth, brings additional expertise in biohazard and trauma scene cleaning. “That extra layer of reassurance is particularly important for sensitive environments such as schools, healthcare settings and care homes,” Adam added.

Last year, SRS secured a three-year Asbestos Removal Licence from the Health & Safety Executive — an upgrade from its previous one-year licence. Operations director Elena Paunete said: “Going straight from a one-year to a three-year licence as a new business is no mean feat, and Adam’s support at a critical time made a big difference.”

Stephen Booth, director at SRS, said: “It has been great working with Adam again and his team at Consulo. We’ve already delivered some challenging projects together and we look forward to building on this partnership.”
