Your Business Expo Bedford this autumn will provide fresh insight into Universal Studios’ plans for the region — with a focus on how local firms can position themselves to benefit from the multi-billion-pound development.

The exhibition takes place on Thursday 9 October 2025 at Bedford International Athletic Stadium and is set to attract more than 70 exhibitors and hundreds of visitors. It is supported by Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce.

Preparing for Supply Chain Opportunities

Justin Richardson, chief executive at Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, will lead a seminar titled Universal Studios Bedford: What It Means for Local Business and How to Be Ready.

“Universal’s investment is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for Bedfordshire,” said Justin. “Thousands of jobs will be created and the procurement opportunities are vast. Businesses need to start preparing now to ensure they are in the best position to be considered as preferred suppliers.”

The session will include practical advice on procurement readiness, with Kirsty Maynard of THSP outlining five key steps to help firms strengthen their tendering processes.

Alongside the Universal Studios update, the expo programme features:

  • Exhibition hall with 70+ stands (10am–3pm)

  • Free seminars and workshops throughout the day
