Cynthia Spencer Hospice is to mark 50 years of palliative care in Northamptonshire with a black-tie gala at Sywell Aerodrome.
The charity’s anniversary event will take place at Hangar One on Thursday October 15, with Reverend Richard Coles appearing as special guest and singer Billy Lockett performing live. Northampton Sings Out, the award-winning community choir, will also perform.
The event will raise funds for Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity, which supports people receiving specialist palliative care and their families across West Northamptonshire.
Guests will be welcomed with a red-carpet reception and drinks before an evening including live entertainment, a three-course meal, charity auction, raffle and dancing.
The charity has confirmed EMW Law LLP as Gold Sponsor for the event. Sponsorship packages remain available, starting from £1,000, aimed at businesses wishing to support the hospice while hosting clients or colleagues.
Asma Maya Joseph-Hussain, chief executive of Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity, said: “For half a century, Cynthia Spencer Hospice has stood at the heart of our community, delivering specialist care, comfort and compassion to local people and their families when they need it most. This Black-Tie Gala marks not only a celebration of our past, but a defining moment for our future.”
She added: “Every ticket purchased and every pound raised directly strengthens our ability to provide exceptional, specialist care for people and their loved ones, today and in the years to come.”
