Northamptonshire businesses are backing the upcoming Northamptonshire Mind Gala Ball, which will raise funds to support the mental health charity’s work across the county.
Cottons Group, Business Times Northamptonshire and Whittlebury Park are among the organisations supporting the event, which will feature former England rugby international Ben Cohen MBE as guest speaker.
Representatives from the sponsors met Northamptonshire Mind chief executive Sarah Hillier at Whittlebury Park this week ahead of the Gala Ball, including Ana Dima of Cottons Group, Ian Taylor and Kerry Lewis-Stevenson of Business Times.
The afternoon gave sponsors the opportunity to hear more about Northamptonshire Mind’s work and its Strategic Vision, including how the charity is developing and delivering mental health support across Northamptonshire.
Northamptonshire Mind says funds raised locally are reinvested into its network of mental health services across the county.
Ian Taylor, who has been helping to bring supporters of the Gala Ball together, is encouraging other Northamptonshire businesses to get involved.
“Northamptonshire Mind provides vital support to people across the county and the Gala Ball is a great opportunity for the business community to get behind that work. We’d love to see more local businesses join us on the night, whether by taking a table, supporting the fundraising or simply helping us spread the word.”
Whittlebury Park is also supporting the fundraising on the night by providing a range of prizes for the Gala Ball’s auctions and raffles.
Tickets for the Northamptonshire Mind Gala Ball remain available, with a small number of tables also available.
