Join us: Employers urged to sign up to attend healthy workplace summit at University of Northampton

BEST PRACTICE in creating the healthiest work environments is to take centre stage at a major conference at the University of Northampton.

The 11th Global Healthy Workplace Summit takes place on August 30-September 1 and will cover topics including the future of work, Artificial Intelligence, the four-day working week and design of healthy workplaces.

Speakers will include UoN vice chancellor Professor Anne-Marie Kilday pictured left, Professor Dame Carol Black, a former government adviser on workplace health, and business leaders from BT, IBM, Lendlease, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development and Eurofund.

The summit, themed Good Health is Good Business, is hosted by the Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces. Previous events have taken place in the USA, Italy and Australia.

Tommy Hutchinson, co-director at Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces and lecturer in entrepreneurship at the University of Northampton, said: “This is a unique opportunity for businesses and organisations to learn from the best in the field and to take steps to improve the health, wellbeing, and safety of their employees.”

Professor Kilday said: “The event provides an opportunity to showcase the university’s work relating to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and our ongoing investment in the working environment.”
