REGIONAL law firm Tollers Solicitors are proud to be supporting Cransley Hospice to raise much-needed funds to support the charity’s work in providing outstanding care to patients with life-limiting illness in north Northamptonshire.

The teams at Tollers are delighted to be able to do its bit to help the hospice, which has to raise £1.4m each year to continue providing specialist palliative care to patients not only in the hospice, but also in their own homes.

This year the firm’s support for Cransley Hospice is being done on two wheels. Tollers are a headline sponsor of the Cycle for Cransley sportive being held on Sunday 23 June, starting from Kettering Rugby club. Following on from that, in July, a Tollers team made up of Managing Partner Duncan Nicholson along with Tristan Benson (Partner) and Roger Reed (Associate), will cycle the renowned London to Paris route to raise more funds for the hospice.

Duncan Nicholson said: “Tollers takes its corporate responsibility very seriously and our dedicated committee, made up of staff from different branches and different positions throughout the organisation, work tirelessly to create long-standing relationships with the charities that Tollers support throughout the year. As a firm, it is important for us to engage with the local community and to give back where we can. Tollers are proud to say that our staff always participate in any event we support.”

Cycle For Cransley – 23rd June 2019

Tollers are thrilled to be a headline sponsor, along with Kettering based firm KLM Taxis, of this years Cycle for Cransley, an event hosted by Kettering Rugby Club.

Back by popular demand, this fantastic cycling challenge consists of a 10, 25, 50 or, for anyone brave enough, an all-new 63-mile cycle ride through Northampton’s picturesque countryside. The event is designed for the whole family to enjoy, with those under 16 years of age being able to ride for just £5 if accompanied by an adult.

For those not racing, there will be an events village at Kettering Rugby Club which boasts fantastic live entertainment, fabulous catering and fun activities for young cyclists as well as all the family to enjoy. Whether you decide to participate in the ride itself or cheer your loved ones on from the starting line, it is set to be a fantastic day out for everyone.

London to Paris

The world famous route, which takes cyclists through the rolling countryside of Kent, across the channel and through the picturesque towns of suburban France to Paris, is no easy feat. At around 300 miles, the challenge is hard. The team plan to ride over three days travelling a 100 miles or more each day, with the goal of raising much needed funds for Cransley.

Managing Partner and keen cyclist, Duncan Nicholson, said: “It is fantastic that Tollers are able to use our resources to help worthy charities such as Cransley Hospice. Our corporate responsibility footprint gets larger every year as we find more charities who need our help. On a personal level, I am very excited to undertake both the 63 mile challenge at the Cycle for Cransley event in June and also the London to Paris cycle in July. Bring it on!”
