HISTORIC Rushton Hall, nestled into the rolling Northamptonshire countryside, is undergoing some dramatic improvements.
Through the decades, the Grade I listed four red star hotel has welcomed thousands of guests, including more than 700 couples celebrating their weddings in The Pavilion. In late January, the demolition of the 50-year-old building stirred memories for people who had chosen Rushton Hall for their special day.
It is making way for a spectacular new Orangery, one of the many investments this year that will not only change what the hall can offer but also enhance the experience of coming to Rushton Hall for all its guests.
The planning process has taken more than ten years and has the support of Historic England who backed the decision to replace The Pavilion with The Orangery which has been designed to blend effortlessly with the original building.
Head of Sales and Marketing Tom Gilbert said: “Along with The Orangery we will also be opening our new casual dining restaurant all served by our new state of the art kitchen. Rushton Hall is one of the finest hotels in the Midlands. These improvements are going to help us to realise our vision of being one of the top luxury hotels in the UK.”
Meticulous attention to the finer details ensures the design of The Orangery can be used for a wide range of uses. Alongside traditional weddings and conferences, the space is ideal for organisers of product launches, music events and one-off events.
Rushton Hall Hotel is already recognised for its impressive facilities. It is the only venue in the county to boast a Three Rosette Restaurant and guests can make use of The Stableyard Spa which has a stunning pool, indoor and outdoor spas, steam room, fitness suite and treatment rooms.
Tom said: “We are already very proud of what Rushton Hall has to offer our guests but the purpose-built Orangery with its latest audio visual system and high speed wi-fi means it is ideal for 21st century events. With the input from Historic England The Orangery will keep the feel and grandeur of the original 15th century hall.
