Architects secure place on framework

COUNTY architects, GSSArchitecture, are delighted to announce that they have successfully secured a place on the new £500m Pagabo Professional Services Framework, which will run from April 2020 for four years.

The framework is available to both public and private sector organisations across the UK. Historically, the framework has delivered high-profile projects for clients including police authorities, educational institutes, The Department of Health and a number of local authorities. Securing a space is a highly competitive process, with over 200 providers applying for a place on this second iteration of the framework, and GSSArchitecture are the only Northamptonshire practice to be appointed to Lot 7, for Architectural Design Services.

Under the Professional Services Framework, GSSArchitecture will provide architectural design services for projects of all sizes, ranging from small refurbishments to multi-million pound new builds.

Ian Bray, Managing Partner and Framework Lead at GSSArchitecture said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won a place on this prestigious framework, which will allow our clients in both the public and private sectors to access our award-winning services, without going through lengthy and costly procurement exercises. It was a tremendous team effort in compiling the submission, and especially pleasing we were able to demonstrate that our sustainability and social values were among the very best nationally within the profession. The opportunity this now gives our clients will assist in our continued growth and success across the country”.

At the heart of Pagabo’s philosophy is a commitment to driving meaningful social value, therefore work carried out through the framework is calculated in order to assess its economic, environmental and financial impact. As of 2019, Pagabo reported to have enabled £2.03bn in social value, through work carried out on their framework. Examples of this social value include the creation of almost 2,000 new jobs, over 500 apprentices employed and over £1bn of investment benefiting local communities. GSSArchitecture are delighted to have the opportunity to play a part in this impressive social value, that is being delivered through the Pagabo framework.

Providers that have successfully secured places on the framework were required to demonstrate a shared passion for social value, and GSS are proud to have been able to demonstrate their ability to provide this through the work they have carried out over the 140 year history.
