BARRATT Homes Northampton’s long-term commitment to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance has resulted in a total of £9,377.48 being raised for the charity.
Each WNAA mission costs £1,700, meaning the Northampton based homebuilder has been able to support more than five missions in total.
Barratt Homes raised the money through frequent dress down days, quizzes and raffles and was able to generate vital funds for this very important charity.
Throughout its fundraising efforts, Barratt Homes has accommodated multiple cheque presentations and an established relationship has developed with the WNAA.
Andrew Swindell, Managing Director for Barratt Homes Northampton, said: “We are thrilled to have raised such vital funds for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and it’s been a privilege to contribute to their heroic efforts.
“As a division, we’re very proud of each and every employee who has contributed to this fantastic achievement.
“Our fundraising has been both enjoyable and rewarding and we’re looking forward to building on our commitment to the WNAA in the future.”
Established in 2003, the WNAA provides helicopter emergency medical services to the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area.
The charity is able to carry senior doctors and consultants to the scene of incidents in a matter of minutes, delivering lifesaving treatment and medication at the scene and en-route to the hospital.
Barratt Homes Northampton is currently building new homes at developments across Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
