THE doors are finally open at The Orangery, the spectacular new building at historic Rushton Hall.

After years in the planning, The Orangery, which will seat up to 300 people, is a wonderful addition to the magnificent Grade 1 listed Four Red Star Hotel which stands in 25 acres of grounds.

The development marks a new era for the hotel which is already the only venue in the county to boast a Three Rosette Restaurant.

The planning process has taken more than ten years and has the support of Historic England who have backed the decision to replace the current Pavilion with The Orangery, designed to blend effortlessly with the original building.

Head of Sales and Marketing Tom Gilbert said: “This is a fantastic time at Rushton Hall.

We have taken many years to get to this stage but we believe the new stately rooms have been well worth the wait. There are few other venues with this capacity in the Midlands and none can boast such a fantastic location.”

Meticulous attention to the finer details ensures the design of The Orangery can be used for a wide range of events. Alongside traditional weddings and conferences, the space is already capturing the imagination of organisers of product launches, music and one-off events.

The experienced team are justifiably proud of the facilities at the venue, once the home of Francis Tresham who played a key role in the Gunpowder Plot.

These include beautifully decorated period bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and the Stableyard Spa where guests can make use of the stunning pool, indoor and outdoor spas, steam room, fitness suite and treatment rooms.

Along with The Orangery there are other meeting rooms, all equipped with wi-fi and socket points, which can accommodate much smaller groups. Guests and delegates can also make use of the 25 acres of grounds for activities including team building challenges.

Tom said: “We have always been very proud of what Rushton Hall has to offer and the opening of this spectacular new building means even more wonderful opportunities.”

Weddings now promise to be even more special with celebrations taking place in the purpose-built Orangery.

Rushton Hall has always been one of the county’s finest wedding venues but the new Orangery is an opportunity to host even bigger and more extravagant weddings.

Just one wedding reception is held at the hotel on any day so the couple and their guests will certainly feel they are the centre of attention.

The team can help organise civil ceremonies with attention to detail from the food and wine to the accommodation.

A wedding showcase on Sunday, 13 August from 10am to 4pm will be the first opportunity for couples to step inside The Orangery.
