AWARDS sponsors were joined by previous award winners to celebrate the launch of the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards in association with Business Times at The Forum, home to South Northamptonshire Council.
Speaking on behalf of South Northamptonshire Council, Councillor Richard Dallyn, Chairman of the council, said: “In sponsoring these awards, South Northamptonshire Council is showcasing its dedication to growing the district’s economy. Our sponsorship is to magnify the capabilities and quality of our local employers to a wider audience within this county and beyond.”
Judith Halliday, Editor for Business Times, said: “As the first three years have shown, the awards are held in high esteem in the Northamptonshire business community and we are proud to be a part of that. Supporting local enterprise is at the heart of Business Times and is at the heart of the awards and we look forward to celebrating more local success this year.”
Categories include Business Person of the Year, Service Excellence and South Northamptonshire Business of the Year. Winners in each of the various starred categories will be progressed into the second stage of the SME National Business Awards 2019 and will be invited to Wembley to celebrate their achievements this December.
Jane Kirwan, Service Manager at Stanair, said: “We are looking forward to being involved in the awards for a fourth year as headline sponsors. The standard of awards entrants grows each year, we are excited to see both new and returning businesses in 2019. Good luck to all of those entering the awards this year.”
Awards Director, Damian Cummins added: “The Northamptonshire awards are one of the highlights in our calendar. We are delighted to be going into our fourth year and look forward to celebrating the best in the county.”
