SPRATTON Hall’s music department is a major part of the school.
Music is taught from Reception right up to Year 8, and from Year 1 the pupils start to play a musical instrument.
There are plenty of opportunities to shine at Spratton Hall through music as there are many bands and ensembles that play in frequent concerts, assemblies and church services.
Spratton Hall also has several pupils who have been selected to be part of one of the music ensembles run by the Northampton Music and Performing Arts Trust. Competition at the auditions to get into these ensembles is always very fierce, so it is a true accolade to Spratton Hall that so many of their pupils have been selected.
The photograph shows violinist Phoebe, cellists Lauren and Amy and clarinetist Emily, who are all in the County Junior Orchestra.
Amy is also in the Vocal County Junior Choir with Shanaya.
While saxophonist Camilla and clarinetist Millie are in the County Junior Wind Orchestra.
