LAST time, we reported on The Royal Ordnance Depot at Weedon Bec, purchased in 2012 by Michael Chittenden.
Now, the adjoining site, known as The Magazine Store, is under the same ownership, after many years being separated. Soon, the property’s name will be shortened to The Stores.
The Stores is a collection of properties totalling 35,000 square feet of heritage, red brick buildings on an eight-acre site adjacent to the successful business centre now established at The Depot. The quirky, characterful nature of the buildings also lend themselves to businesses ranging from offices and creative space through to artisan workshops and light industrial. A total of 16 units are available, three of which have an additional floor. These are available either to let separately, in combination or as a whole.
As well as easy access to the UK’s road network, The Stores is just ten miles from Northampton and five from Daventry with its own access road.
One option for the site would be as a sector hub – particularly where security is an issue – as it is enclosed by a five-metre high wall.
At this early stage, it would be possible for a potential occupier to create a destination location, as other uses could be applied for.
The Depot and The Stores offer flexible leases on various buildings of differing shapes and sizes, contact the owners for more information.
Other benefits include:
* Best wifi speed for miles around, served by its very own data centre
* The most central location you can get – literally.
* Flexible leases that cost less that you might imagine
* Optional business rates support
* Parking – and lots of it
* 24-hour security
