Two neighbouring businesses based at a countryside office development near Northampton have entered into a new commercial partnership, underlining the value of proximity and professional rapport in the SME sector.
Silverstone Leasing, a fast-growing vehicle leasing firm, and Quagga Design, a specialist in retail design and shopfitting, are both based at Preston Deanery, a rural business location surrounded by open farmland.
The collaboration began when Quagga Design appointed Silverstone Leasing to supply its commercial vehicles. While the two companies share a physical address, Quagga’s managing director Steve Green insisted that convenience was not the primary factor behind the decision.
“It’s less about geography and more about accessibility,” he said. “There’s always someone available for a conversation. That directness makes a difference.”
Green also praised the culture at Silverstone Leasing, led by managing director Scott Norville and team leader Ryan Bishop. “They’re straightforward, personable and easy to deal with. The team, from top to bottom, is a credit to the business.”
Under the agreement, Quagga Design has leased two vans through Silverstone, with both firms noting the ease with which the arrangement was established.
