THOSE keen to get involved in this year’s SME Northamptonshire Business Awards have been given extra time to prepare their entries after the deadline was extended to 10 July.
Apart from the public vote awards – Best Customer Service, Pub of the Year, Restaurant of the Year and Coffee Shop of the Year – there are 22 categories still open to new entries. These include Best Enterprising Business, Best New Business, Website of the Year and the Green Award.
This year’s awards, once again in association with Business Times, were launched at the end of April. Stanair Industrial Doors is continuing as a headline sponsor for the fourth year in a row.
Established in 2016, the awards have firmly established their place on the county’s business calendar, gaining support from the business community both as sponsors and entrants. In addition, winners from the Northamptonshire awards go through to the SME National Finals at Wembley later in the year.
Organiser Damian Cummins said: “Everything is in place for another fantastic awards ceremony. We’re delighted with how the event has really captured the imagination of the Northamptonshire business community and we want as many people as possible to benefit from the success that previous winners have experienced.
“Entry details are on our website and we’ve extended the deadline to ensure everyone who wants to get involved can do so. We’ve got a panel of judges just waiting to get to work, so tell us all about what you do and why you think you’d be a worthy winner.”
This year’s glittering awards evening will be held at the Royal and Derngate on Thursday, 26 September and tickets are available via the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards website or via the ticket hotline 01908 542720.
