AS the summer term at Bosworth Independent College has drawn to a close, we have welcomed a beautiful start to the holidays in Northampton. Our summer school is in full swing, with the buildings abuzz with students from around the world enjoying classes in arts and crafts, film making and photography as well as our tennis and go-karting programmes.
The school is alive with action all summer and our admissions team are open for enquiries all year round.
We are eagerly awaiting results day later this month; our learners regularly progress to study at highly-ranked universities, such as Cambridge, UCL and Warwick, as well as other Russell Group universities. We are anticipating further success stories from our students who have worked hard all year to achieve and surpass their goals, supported by our enthusiastic and highly experienced teaching body. Watch this space for our 2018 results.
In September 2018 we will welcome our first cohort of Year 9 learners, who will be the first to undertake our three-year GCSE option. This comes following high demand to extend the GCSE from two years to three, following recent curriculum changes. The three-year option allows learners further time to secure their knowledge and understanding to a higher level.
The curriculum will offer a range of subjects allowing for students to explore their options before specialising. We also offer an intense one-year GCSE option for students who would like to top up their grades, as well as entrance in Years 10 and 11.
Bosworth offers outstanding pastoral care, with average class size of eight. We have consistently excellent results and offer an environment which will help your child flourish and thrive in education.
