Support from a dragon

A NORTHAMPTON firm received a business boost from ex-Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis.

In January, Lisa Eagles, who runs EaglesCreative, tweeted Theo about the promotional gifts and corporate workwear business during Small Business Sunday, an initiative set up by Theo that runs weekly.

Theo retweeted Lisa’s message to his 489,800 followers and as a result, the business www.eaglescreative.co.uk has 120 more followers and extra orders for their promotional gifts and corporate workwear business. They are also profiled on Theo’s small business award website www.theopaphitissbs.com that is exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.

Lisa Eagles said: “Our business has only been open since September 2018, with such competition out there it has been tough trying to raise our profile and bring awareness of where to buy promotional gifts and corporate workwear to a wider range of customers. Theo has recognised our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do which has been a real boost to our team.”

Anyone looking for a retweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5pm and 7pm and include the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are retweeted every week and then invited to enter their profile on Theo’s website. This is done free of charge and the website is sponsored by Ryman Stationery, where Theo is Chairman.

EaglesCreative is at 80 Tenter Road, Moulton Park. For further information, contact Lisa Eagles by email at or call 01604 552981
