THE Institute of Directors (IoD) East Midlands has started its search for the top directors in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire as part of the annual nationwide competition.
Applicants have until 31 March to enter for these coveted regional awardsRon Lynch, IoD East Midlands Regional Director, said: “Our new IoD Director General Stephen Martin, who takes on the role in February, was a previous winner in the East Midlands – evidence of the high calibre of entrant this competition attracts. Each year we receive entries from some truly inspiring people from across the region.”
The awards celebrate the achievements of the region’s most hardworking and innovative business leaders and are open to both IoD members and non-members of director level or equivalent status. In 2016 Darren Crookes, Managing Director of Acorn Partitions and Storage Systems Ltd of Lincoln, was awarded the IoD’s overall East Midlands Director of the Year.
A panel of judges will draw up a shortlist for the regional competition and the winners will be revealed at the East Midlands Director of the Year Awards 2017 presentation lunch at Nottingham Conference Centre, Nottingham Trent University on Friday 23 June.
