PROJECT managers and quantity surveyors, Goodrich Consulting LLP, are looking forward to what is already shaping up to be a busy 2017/2018 and are also celebrating 25 years in business from August this year.
Over the years Goodrich have secured many jobs with local trade giants Travis Perkins Plc. In total the firm has been appointed as project managers and quantity surveyors on 16 projects for Travis Perkins since 2010. Goodrich’s most recent appointments are new branches in Milton Keynes and Huddersfield. Goodrich has recently completed new Travis Perkins branches in Bedford and Sheffield which included a 12,000 sq ft new branch building, and also completed Wickes branches in Norwich and Corby.
In addition to industrial/commercial schemes, Goodrich is currently providing project management and quantity surveying services to client Taylor and Taylor Shires Ltd on a new 70-bedroom care home with a first-floor dementia unit and two separate extra care apartment blocks in Shipston-on-Stour. The project is due to start on site in May 2017.
Goodrich will be starting on site at Bedford Girls’ School in the upcoming summer holiday. The project will provide Bedford Girls’ School with a new state-of-the-art dance studio equipped with lighting and acoustics, along with flexible staging and seating options. The works will also create a modern foyer area and an external storage area to increase the teaching space available internally. The current caretaker store room is being converted into a dance studio fitted out with a ballet barre, new flooring and decoration throughout and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Specialist lighting is also being added to the two existing assembly halls. The works are on a tight programme so ensure it is complete for the beginning of the new school term in September 2017.
