Yusen Logistics has expanded its greenhouse gas emissions reporting to include land transportation activities in its newly published Sustainability Report 2026.

The international logistics group, whose UK business has its registered office at the Sustainable Distribution Centre in Milton Malsor, Northamptonshire, has broadened its Scope 3 emissions data coverage beyond international freight forwarding.

The report also includes data on air pollutants other than greenhouse gases for the first time in a Yusen Logistics sustainability report.

Published under the theme “Sustainability in Practice”, it outlines developments across the company’s environmental, social and governance priorities.

These include the group’s near-term greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets, which have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Alongside its environmental disclosures, the report highlights the Yusen Logistics Human Rights Policy, released in December 2025.

The company says it will continue working with customers, employees, business partners and other stakeholders to strengthen its sustainability initiatives and improve the transparency of its disclosures.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Yusen Logistics provides international freight forwarding, contract logistics, land transportation and supply chain management services.

The Sustainability Report 2026 is available through the company’s website.
