Royal & Derngate Northampton is seeking corporate partners for the world premiere of Top G’s Like Me, a landmark production addressing one of the most urgent issues facing young people today – the influence of toxic masculinity and harmful online content. The project offers headline sponsorship, associate packages and community partnerships, giving organisations the chance to align their brand with innovation, social impact and education on a national stage.

Running from 20 February to 7 March 2026, the production will transform the Derngate auditorium into Northampton’s Radlands skatepark, providing the setting for a compelling exploration of gender norms, online manipulation and the reach of algorithm-driven content. It will be supported by an extensive engagement programme offering workshops, Q&As and creative projects to schools and community groups.

Jesse Jones, Artistic Director of Royal & Derngate, said: “In our classrooms, online, and on our streets some young people are having ever more misogynistic and extremist views… it is ever more difficult for young people to escape the grasp of this manipulation as they are only ever one swipe away from it.”

Why partner with Royal & Derngate

  • Be associated with a high-profile social initiative tackling a critical national concern
  • Reach thousands of young people through live performance and education
  • Demonstrate commitment to inclusion, innovation and community impact
  • Support a registered charity delivering nationally recognised cultural work

Royal & Derngate, operated by Northampton Theatres Trust (charity no. 1075741), is calling on businesses to play a leading role in bringing this important production and its outreach programme to life.
