Law firm’s support spans culture, sport, tourism and local charities.
Supporting Northamptonshire’s communities, charities and cultural events has long been part of the ethos at Wilson Browne Solicitors.
The county law firm has built a reputation not only for its legal work but also for its involvement across local sport, arts, education and community initiatives.
For many regional businesses, community sponsorship is occasional. For Wilson Browne Solicitors, however, it has become a defining part of the firm’s role within the county.
Among its most visible partnerships is its sponsorship of the Lighthouse Theatre pantomime in Kettering, where Wilson Browne Solicitors will be supporting the 2026 production as part of its continued backing of the theatre’s annual festive show.

The firm is also headline sponsor of the inaugural Discover Northamptonshire Tourism Awards, launched this year to recognise the businesses and organisations that drive the county’s visitor economy.
Alongside these high-profile partnerships, Wilson Browne Solicitors supports a number of charities across Northamptonshire. The firm supports many local charities, generally preferring to make multiple smaller donations as opposed to a single charity. Among those it includes Northamptonshire Community Foundation, Cynthia Spencer Hospice, Cransley Hospice, and countless other appeals. In previous years it has made substantial contributions to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and The Lewis Foundation, while also backing national initiatives such as Jeans for Genes and Movember. Kevin Rogers, chair of the firm has launched four charity singles to raise much-needed funds for local charities, most recently mental health charity, Northamptonshire Mind.

Grassroots sport forms another important part of the firm’s community involvement. Across the county, Wilson Browne Solicitors provides sponsorship and support to local clubs and organisations, including rugby clubs such as Kettering RFC and Stuarts & Lloyd RFC, as well as youth cricket leagues and football teams.
Kevin Rogers, partner and chair of the board of management at Wilson Browne Solicitors, said supporting the county has always been central to the firm’s identity.
Kevin said: “Northamptonshire has a strong sense of community and we are passionate about playing our part in that. From grassroots sport and local charities to cultural events and business awards, these organisations help shape the county and we are proud to support them.”
Community involvement within the firm extends beyond sponsorship.
Many lawyers and staff at Wilson Browne Solicitors serve as governors, committee members and treasurers for schools, sports clubs and community organisations across the county. Others are involved with Rotary Clubs across the East Midlands, helping to raise funds for local and national charities.

The firm also supports community events including Northamptonshire Day, the Rotary Club Young Artist Competition, the Northants Open Championships in ballroom dancing and activities at the Kelmarsh Show, reflecting the breadth of its involvement across the county.
Wilson Browne Solicitors has also played a role in promoting Northamptonshire beyond the region. Representatives from the firm have attended the international property conference MIPIM in Cannes in recent years, helping strengthen connections and highlight opportunities linked to the county.

That work reflects the strength of the firm’s commercial property expertise. Earlier this week Wilson Browne Solicitors received national recognition when its commercial property team was named Commercial Property Team of the Year at the British Conveyancing Awards.
Tom Warrender, partner and joint head of the commercial property team at Wilson Browne Solicitors, said the award reflects the experience the team has developed advising businesses and investors across the region.
Tom said: “Northamptonshire has a strong and growing commercial property market and we are proud to support businesses and developers working across the county. Recognition like this reflects the expertise within our team and the relationships we have built with clients locally and nationally.”
For Kevin, however, the firm’s professional success and its community involvement remain closely connected.
“Our success as a firm is closely tied to the success of the communities around us,” Kevin said. “Northamptonshire is where many of our people live and work, and supporting the county is something we are incredibly proud to do.”
