More than 150 property and construction professionals are expected at PropConnect’s Summer BBQ this month, underlining the growing appetite for sector-specific networking in Northamptonshire.

The event, at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club on June 18, brings together developers, contractors, consultants, architects, surveyors, suppliers, investors and property owners.

PropConnect was founded by construction specialists Parm Bhangal and Matthew Abraham to create a dedicated networking platform for the county’s built environment sector. Its quarterly events have grown into a regular meeting point for businesses looking to build relationships and generate work across the local property market.

Organisers say the Summer BBQ has become one of the group’s most popular events, with last year’s gathering selling out. This year’s event is again approaching capacity.

The growth comes as PropConnect adds new commercial backing. Apertus Group was announced as a sponsor at the group’s March event.
