Axe throwing will add an unusual twist to a networking lunch for Northamptonshire’s property and construction professionals next week.

The PropConnect networking lunch takes place at Stanwick Lakes on Thursday September 17, from noon until 3pm, with only a few tickets remaining.

The event will give developers, contractors, architects, consultants and other professionals working across property and construction the opportunity to meet new contacts and catch up with familiar faces over a light lunch and refreshments.

Axe throwing will take place during the final hour, from 2pm until 3pm, bringing a different element to the usual networking format.

The event will be smaller than some previous PropConnect occasions, allowing those attending more time to talk and learn about the businesses, projects and opportunities represented in the room.

PropConnect was founded by construction specialists Parm Bhangal and Matthew Abraham. Its events have continued to grow, with more than 150 people attending the network’s summer barbecue in June.

Parm said: “We wanted to create an event that people would genuinely look forward to attending, while still giving them the opportunity to meet useful contacts from across the industry.

“Keeping the lunch smaller means people will have more time to get to know one another. The axe throwing gives the afternoon an additional fun element and will hopefully help people relax, enjoy themselves and start conversations.”

The PropConnect networking lunch is organised by Bhangals Construction Consultants and FormFive and will take place in the main visitor centre at Stanwick Lakes.

Only a few places remain. Tickets can be booked online.
