AT the end of 2016, Berrys commercial agency team saw a flurry of lettings complete including two shops in Towcester town centre, one of which let to Browns Hairdressing and the other to WK Direct Kitchens, both of which have expanded into the town from their existing operations due to the recent growth of and development within Towcester town centre.
With further business successes and investment into the town by 185 Watling Street Pub and Kitchen and the Towcester Mill Brewery, it is evident that Towcester is a vibrant and developing town with an improving night time and leisure economy.
At such an opportune time, Berrys has brought to the market the former HSBC Bank which is situated in a prominent position and provides approximately 2,000 sq. ft. over two floors. The property can be reconfigured to provide open plan space and has potential for alternative uses including restaurant or leisure use, subject to planning permission.
Berrys has also recently let a former Post Office building in Rushden on behalf of Telereal Trillium for a new micro pub which has been an overwhelming success since its opening in late December 2016. Many locals and residents have commented that this has given the town?ETMs leisure offering a huge boost. Over the coming weeks, Berrys will be bringing a further leisure premises to the market in Rushden town centre on a leasehold basis with D2 consent.
