MIDSHIRES Electrical and Lighting is proud to announce Tom Rawsthorne as the winner of the company’s annual Christmas Charity Giveaway.
For the past 10 years Midshires has given its customers the chance to present a cheque of £1,000 to a charity of their choice. Managing Director, Ben Fountain said: “It’s a chance to make a real difference, rather than give customers a box of chocolates or alcohol that gets forgotten about.”
Midshires customers were asked to nominate their charity during November, and produced more than 20 meaningful nominations this year. The winner was announced on 12 December.
Tom chose Cancer Research and his story had a very special meaning to the Midshires Team and as a result his charity was chosen, and Tom was generous enough to double the donation to £2,000.
Midshires would like to thank all its customers for getting involved with this year’s charity suggestion, and of course the valuable work of Cancer Research.
